Soul Mates

My personal belief is that Soul Mates come in a variety of categories and all of us have soul mates. I've read this in the internet and it explains the different categories of soul mates:

SOUL MATES are THE SPECIAL PEOPLE in our lives… People who we have shared previous lives with, who we have loved, and helped and strove towards understanding and bonding with. Soul mates are People who when we meet, we feel a connection, a rapport and a sense of familiarity. We feel comfortable with these people and the relationship we share is usually on a POSITIVE LEVEL. While you may experience some friction and a few problems the negativity is easily resolved and, once understood, serves to help both of you to learn identical lessons.
There are 4 distinctly different types of soul mates. Each has a unique set of characteristics that makes them unmistakable from those others who come into our life. LET’S begin with the most challenging first and end with the general conception of soul mate…
1. TEACHER SOUL MATES, these folks are usually the most difficult soul mate relationship we have. these souls agreed to help us learn an uncomfortable lesson, we agreed to work with and experience this lesson for our soul’s growth. These folks volunteered to be the villain or that ROUGH teacher for us. We sometimes have problems understand the connection, or the love, when they challenge us so constantly and we have difficulty achieving rapport with these people. They force us into growth situations and make us often very uncomfortable with where we are so we are forced to change, they rarely stay in our lives forever but are forever remembered as…””??? IF that person had not done ????….. I would not be or be doing … THIS now..……””

2. COMPANION SOUL MATES are people who are going to help us accomplish a goal and are here to assist us with a SPECIAL purpose. Their help is sometimes a chance encounter, a comment made, a smile, a kind word, a connection when you think you cannot go forward another step. They help you in various ways when you need it most. They offer a mutual gift of learning, sharing and help even in a brief encounter.
We meet companion soul mates every day in a variety of situations and circumstances. You recognize them as the stranger or acquaintance who offers you good advice about a problem or just listens when you need to sound off. They are there when your car breaks down, when we need a teacher to learn, Sometimes just when we need a quarter for the telephone, or when we need a smile to brighten our day, or someone to make eye contact so that we know we are being seen.
3. These soul mates are the ENCOURAGERS who help us to TRY something new or different. Sometimes they come as a boss who appreciates you and these are the people in your life who you feel good about and who assist you in feeling better about yourself.
We have spent a brief time with these folks and there is not usually a SERIOUS bond between you and the present association you have with them now…. I think that in previous lifetimes perhaps we helped these souls and now they are returning the favor. These soul mates rarely are in your life forever but were there when you needed their connection to assist you. I believe that these souls can, if we work towards a more lasting relationship this lifetime become in another lifetime.

4. TWIN SOUL MATES are people who have shared a special bond of friendship and love with in many lifetimes. You feel that complete, natural and open energy with them. Meeting a twin soul mate is like running into a good friend you have not seen in years. There is a connection, and comfortable feeling and you almost seem to pick up the relationship right where it left off in a previous lifetime. These folks have the connection with you and a feeling of continuing something comes when you meet.
We recognize a twin soul mate as someone with all the characteristics of a COMPANION soul mate but with a much stronger and more lasting bond between you. Twin soul mates usually are close family members, special friends, and people who understand you completely and do not judge you the same way others do.
There is very often a spiritual and almost psychic connection with this soul mate. Very often we do not even need words to communicate with them because your souls are in tune on telepathic levels and you almost intuitively know their feelings. We look at these people and smile and feel good.
Your life experiences often parallel the life experiences of your twin soul mate. Together you help each other in many different ways to grow and learn and your friendship becomes even stronger this lifetime.
Your present relationship usually lasts from several years to an entire lifetime. If you part, you do it in a positive way and value the time, energy and the friendship you shared with them. You have many of these people around you and all it requires is to trust, be open to being a friend and this person becomes so much more.
We often marry this soul mate and many of us wonder what is missing because we are sometimes looking for a TWIN FLAME SOUL MATE …and do not appreciate the gift we are given with this tremendous connection.
TWIN FLAME SOUL MATES are not there each and every lifetime for us. Some lifetimes we must learn to care for self, be self sufficient and not bond into this strong and passionate We are one energy losing our sense of who we are as an individual. This is the one and only CONNECTED part of yourself soul, it is almost as if you are ½ and this person is the other ½..
But, as I said, this is NOT FOR EVERY lifetime and the downside to this soul mate is usually that one person disappears into the other person as they join lives. This is the one path, one way, one unit energy. Also, Living without this person is very hard if not impossible when one or the other passes over to the other side first.
There is a deep and meaningful spiritual bond that creates a special rapport with this person. A rather electric current of energy flows between you and you know on some level that you have known this person forever and that YOU BELONG with them and you cannot be apart. Your soul recognizes and remembers your twin flame soul mate. There is only THIS one soul which is your perfect counterpart and together there is created a special magic between the two of you. You will not totally experience this with anyone else and this is NOT to be experienced in every lifetime. AND that is as it is intended to be for our soul’s growth.
So the problem with our soul recognizing that there is this type of relationship is that we do not always meet our TWIN FLAME each lifetime. Sometimes we search and search and pass up wonderful relationships that have much growth, learning and joy within that union looking for this merging of spirit.
Please realize that each lifetime carries energy, this energy is your life path and sometimes your path is to assist others, be a healer, teacher, guide, pioneer, leader, warrior, spiritual advisor for others, whatever, and this path must during many lifetimes be done without the twin flame soul mate being there to distract you from your path..
This does not mean we must be without love; on the contrary realize that in every relationship there is a learning, an lesson and the ability to turn this into a new and closer connection between your two souls.
Some have companion soul mates and a few are twin soul mates. The trick of this is to make each relationship that we are in the best it can be. We must honor, nurture and allow our relationships with others to grown and become the most empowering for both souls that is possible in order to reconnect in other incarnations with these wonderful souls and have even more of them come to us when we need assistance in this lifetime and the next..
Remember that with pain sometimes comes growth, but LOVE should NOT BE PAINFUL MOST OF THE TIME. IF it hurts too much that is a very good indication that this is NOT a soul mate who is here to stay a lifetime with you.
We have angels and guides and much help here in this incarnation. Remember that you can be a SOUL MATE for many people in your life and in doing this; you will attract those others from your past lives to you.
Work at being a good friend, teacher, neighbor and human being and you will find the thousands of connections out there waiting for you. AND for those of you, who believe you have found your TWIN FLAME, remember that this is NOT A PAINFUL relationship, but a joyous union as 2 souls join into one to encourage growth and good for the world and each other………. AND all soul mates Are here to help us grow …
If it makes some sense to you, great. If not, then move onwards with your own truth and beliefs. There are many paths and they all should be led with our hearts and by listening to that which resonates and feels RIGHT within ourselves.
Hope this article helped you in understanding meaning of SOUL MATES.

A Hotline for Abused Women

I have read an article saying that there are lots of kinds of abuses - physical, emotional and financial. The most usual form is intimate-partner violence or abuse among married or unmarried couples. Among the cases, the most common is battery or pambubugbog. These abuses can result to low self-esteem.
But even well-educated women are not exempted from violence. Most women are experiencing belittling from their husbands, putting them down to condition these women that they are not good, that they will be miserable without their husbands. Psychologists warned that oftentimes, violence enters psychologically before it manifests in the physical through coercion or verbal abuse.
To prevent such abusive situations, it is important for woman to value themselves first and to affirm their rights as individual. How should a woman look at herself? Women have to be keen with what's going on in the relationship. If you've observed that you are being controlled, you have to be very open to discuss it with the person. You don't have to separate immediately. There should be care and respect for each other. When you feel these things are not present anymore, deal with it. Don't put it aside.
If you need help and guidance, you may go to Women's Crisis Center 3/F, ER-Trauma extension Annex building of East Avenue Medical Center, Diliman, Quezon City. Hotline numbers: 922-5235 / 926-7744.

How to Apply the 80/20 Principle in the Lives of Smart Women?

1. Time Management
Every Monday (and then every morning), list down what you have to do. Now which of those tasks matter most to your job objectives? If you don't know, then it's time to sit down with your boss. Identify which projects matter to him / her and to the company. Factor in your boss idiosyncrasies too. You may have noticed the he/she gets obsessive about particular details - as long as those are in order, you are fine.
2. Business
If you sell products or services, most like 80% of your sales come from 20% of your customers. Nurture the 20%. Pamper those clients or improve the benefits of your fast moving products. That runs counter to most entrepreneurs' instinct to go after new accounts or promote the less popular items.
3. Job Hunting
Job seekers spend 80% of their time looking for job postings online and newspaper ads, but how many times have you been hired through a "cold" application? The best rackets and positions you've ever had were when you were recommended by someone within the company or industry. So do not go online - GO NETWORK. Build your relationships with people in the field in several months before you plan to resign.

Off Topic - Quarterlife Cris

What is a Quarterlife Crisis? I want to share this with everybody and especially with my friends in the office Blu & Wyndee. I have an article about quarterlife crisis sent to me years ago when I was on my 20 something by my good friend Deric.

The Quarter-Life Crisis
by unknown

It is when you stop going along with the crowd and start realizing that there are a lot of things about yourself that you didn't know and may or may not like. You start feeling insecure and wonder where you will be in a year or two, but then get scared because you barely know where you are now.

You start realizing that people are selfish and that, maybe, those friends that you thought you were so close to aren't exactly the greatest people you have ever met and the people you have lost touch with are some of the most important ones. What you do not realize is that they are realizing that too and are not really cold or catty or mean or insincere, but that they are as confused as you.

You look at your job. It is not even close to what you thought you would be doing or maybe you are looking for one and realizing that you are going to have to start at the bottom and are scared.

You miss the comforts of college, of groups, of socializing with the same people on a constant basis. But then you realize that maybe they weren't so great after all.

You are beginning to understand yourself and what you want and do not want. Your opinions have gotten stronger.

You see what others are doing and find yourself judging a bit more than usual because suddenly you realize that you have certain boundaries in your life and add things to your list of what is acceptable and what is not.

You are insecure and then secure. You laugh and cry with the greatest force of your life. You feel alone and scared and confused. Suddenly change is the enemy and you try and cling on to the past with dear life but soon realize that the past is drifting further and further away and there is nothing to do but stay where you are or move forward.

You get your heart broken and wonder how someone you loved could do such damage to you or you lay in bed and wonder why you can't meet anyone decent enough to get to know better. You love someone but maybe love someone else too and cannot figure out why you are doing this because you are not a bad person.
One night stands and random hook ups start to look cheap and getting wasted and acting like an idiot starts to look pathetic. You go through the same emotions and questions over and over and talk with your friends about the same topics because you cannot seem to make a decision.

You worry about loans and money and the future and making a life for yourself and while winning the race would be great, right now you'd just like to be a contender!

What you may not realize is that everyone reading this relates to it. We are in our best of times and our worst of times, trying as hard as we can to figure this whole thing out.

Analysis:

1. a quarter life crisis - is a point in your life wherein you are faced with the fact that you already served your purpose. What else is there instore for you now that you already reached your prime?

2. a quarter life crisis - is a term applied to the period of life immediately following the major changes of adolescence, usually ranging from the ages of 21 - 29. The term is named by analogy with mid-life crisis. Characteristics of quarter-life crisis may include: feeling "not good enough" because one can't find a job that is at one's academic/intellectual level, frustration with relationships, the working world, and finding a suitable job or career, confusion of identity, insecurity regarding the near future, insecurity concerning long-term plans, life goals, insecurity regarding present accomplishments, re-evaluation of close interpersonal relationships, disappointment with one's job, nostalgia for university, college, tendency to hold stronger opinions, boredom with social interactions, loss of closeness to high school and college friends, financially-rooted stress (unanticipatedly high cost of living, etc.) loneliness, desire to have children, a sense that everyone is, somehow, doing better than you.

3. In the context of the quarter-life crisis, however, they occur shortly after a young person usually an educated professional, in this context enters the "real world". After entering adult life and coming to terms with its responsibilities, some individuals find themselves experiencing career stagnation or extreme insecurity. The individual often realizes the real world is tougher, more competitive and less forgiving than they imagined. Furthermore, the qualifications they have spent so much time and money earning are not likely to prepare them for this disillusionment.

BOTTOMLINE: Enjoy every moment of your life. Add life to our years and not add years to our life...

What not to Wear to Work

The way you dress affects how others view you. It's nothing personal, just business.
Many professional women are guilty of multiple fashion faux pas without realizing it, and their lack of judgment can sometimes lead to being passed over for a job or promotion.Dressing for success means business, not pleasure.

1. Too much cleavage - Showing too much cleavage at work is the No. 1 fashion faux pas on our list. Studies show that women who dress in sexy attire in a professional environment are more often passed over for promotions than women who dress more conservatively. Bottom line: If you want to get ahead, ditch the low-cut top.
2. Too-short skirt - Wearing a micro-mini may send the message that you're trying to compensate for skills you lack in other areas. Also, the knee is a visual anchor, says Barbara Pachter, an etiquette expert. People's attention will be drawn downward when they approach you, instead of toward your face where it should be. Save your minis for after office hours and, while it doesn't need to be knee length, put on a
skirt that you can sit down in without showing too much thigh.
3. See-through clothes - Summer materials such as organza and liquid jersey look and feel cool and pretty, but in the light of a staff meeting, they can reveal the outlines of your legs — and much more. The best solution is to check out your ensemble in a bright, naturally lit room before leaving for work. Always wear transparent blouses over
camis or under jackets; transparent dresses and skirts should be layered over a slip or leggings. Ginger Burr of Total Image Consultants notes that buying clothes with lining — especially white pants and skirts — is always a safe choice.
4. Over-accessorizing - A rule of thumb when it comes to accessories in the workplace: Less is more. Costume jewelry, when worn in bulk, tends to look tacky. The real thing, on the other hand, can come off as gaudy. A boardroom-ready look includes one show stopper plus subtle accessories. That means if you're going to put on a chunky beaded necklace, stick to minimal earrings and arm candy.
Bringing the beach into the office
Sundresses, spaghetti straps, flip-flops. Nothing makes you look less professional than coming to the office like you're dressed for the beach. Having a cover-up like a pashmina, neutral blazer or cardigan on hand will always make an outfit look more professional. Truth be told, however, these summer staples are best avoided at the office. Trade your tank top for a silk shell and Havaianas for backless mules.

8 Business Travel Tips for Smart Women

Business travel takes you away from home and loved ones and can cause all sorts of unexpected issues. Make your travel easier with these time-tested tips.

1. Sleep smart
Dark circles under your eyes aren't good for business. Many road warriors know that you can only use a certain amount of concealer to cover bags under your eyes to mask jetlag or poor sleep nights in strange
hotel rooms. So carry eye masks and earplugs. Wax earplugs are better than the little foam ones. They are often sold as a swimming accessory and work well to mute noise, snoring and annoyingly chatty airline passengers. Invest in a blow-up pillow to sleep soundly on planes. They also prevent your hair from being flattened as you sleep.
2. Carry rations

The airlines are starving us! If your flight is delayed or has mechanical problems, you may spend hours on the runway or circling in the air while your stomach is screaming. Airlines offer little more than the tiny, salty rations of peanuts or pretzels for short flights. Carry a nutritious and filling power bar and an apple in your bag.
3. Wake up right

Hotel alarm clocks and wake-up calls can be unreliable. Pack an inexpensive sports watch with an alarm and a stopwatch. The stopwatch is useful for your workout on the exercise bike in the hotel fitness centre or to time your bubble bath. If you carry a pager, find out if it has an alarm function and learn how to use it.
4. Pack lightly

If you need to be dressed in business attire for a meeting the same day you travel , wear it on the plane. Always assume your luggage may be lost and be prepared. Don't put yourself in the awkward and expensive position of being dependent upon taxis and tip-hungry porters. Pack the least amount of clothes and shoes you think you can survive on. You can wear the same mix-and-match outfits day after day. Leave room in your bag for the shopping treasures you can't resist along the way.
5. Take dark clothes

They don't show stains, wrinkles or dirt, and work for most situations.
6. Cut down on shoes

How many shoes does a business traveller pack? Too many, usually! If the shoe fits, wear it ... don't carry it. Wear the shoes you'll need for business and pack one pair of trainers for walking, jogging or informal occasions.
7. Shop without guilt

Spend some money on yourself and buy presents and cards for your loved ones' upcoming birthdays.
8. Communicate with home

It is unproductive to leave messages on answering machines. If you are travelling to a different time zone, you may wake a grumpy loved one in the middle of the night. The easiest and cheapest way to communicate home from most countries is via fax. Sending a fax costs less than a long distance call and you don't have to deal with time differences. Leave your hotel fax number with friends and family. If you prefer email, set up free email accounts for your kids and send them notes and postcards.

A Strong Woman vs A Woman of Strength

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape.....
A woman of strength looks deep inside to keep her soul in shape....
A strong woman isn't afraid of anything...
A woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear....
A strong woman won't let anyone get the best of her...
A woman of strength gives the best of her to everyone....
A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids them in the future...
A woman of strength realizes life's mistakes
can also be blessings and capitalizes on them....
A strong woman walks sure footedly...
A woman of strength knows when to ask for help...
A strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face....
A woman of strength wears grace....
A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey...
A woman of strength has faith that it is
in the journey that she will become strong.

Make Up Expiration

Here are some suggestions to help you decide when it’s time to toss old make-up:
  • Foundation: 3-6 months
  • Concealer: Wand applicator concealers should be tossed within 6 months since they’re likely to grow bacteria.
  • Stick, twist-up tubes, or compact concealers can last up to 12 months, especially if you use a makeup brush to apply the product.
  • Powders: Facial powder, blush and eyeshadow should be thrown out after one year.
  • Eye shadow should be thrown out after any eye infection to, to avoid re-infecting yourself.
  • Lip gloss and lipstick: 1 year
  • Mascara: The shelf life for mascara is 3 months. If your mascara becomes dry, or you develop an eye infection, you should dump it immediately. Never share mascara!
  • Pencils: If you sharpen them every few days, makeup pencils can last up to two years, but you want to them when they become dry, crumbly, and hard to apply.
  • Natural cosmetics: Because these products do not contain preservatives, they should be used or discarded within 6 months.
  • Moisturizers: 1 year
  • Cleansers: 1 year

Here are some additional tips:

1. I know we’re going through a recession and with the cost of cosmetics, it’s much easier to share, but you should never share make-up.

2. Don’t put your fingers into your make-up, because the bacteria from your hands will be transported to your make-up. Use the applicator, brush, or makeup sponge instead.

3. Keep containers tightly closed, and store them in a cool, dry place.

4. Don’t use water or saliva to ease the application of a product. Doing so introduces bacteria into the product, which can cause a host of problems.

5. To help you remind you when it’s time to throw your cosmetics out, write the expiration date on a label and stick it on the bottom of the product.

Lessons from a Filipino Woman Entrepreneur

  • Don't let humble beginnings hold you back. Look to the future not the past.
  • Don't go for the "quick profit" if it sacrifices quality. Your reputation is your best marketing tool.
  • Remember after sales service. It's more effective to get repeat business from a happy customer than to work on "cold calls" on new ones.
  • Recognize those who helped you and give them their due respect.

If you want to start your own small business, let us help you. This micro finance organization company lends to women with the smallest businesses from sari-sari store to street corner banana cue stands. They provide both individual and group loans, starting with amounts as low as P2,000 to P90,000. They just don't lend money, they also build communities and help women who wants to be independent and create livelihood programs for them. This organization gives resources available to those who'd never have the credit lines to borrow from a bank.

How to Apply Perfume

DON'T splash perfume all over your clothes. It could stain the fabric.

DO apply perfume lightly to the body's pulse points, wrists, base of the throat, behind the ears, at the temples, behind the knees, the back of the neck and cleavage area. One round application to all the pulse points will do. If you like a bit of dramatic flair, spray some into the air and walk through it to soak in your favorite scent.
DON'T rub your wrists together after spraying on perfume. This breaks down the scent.
PERFUME ESSENCES:
  • Perfume can include 15%-40% perfume concentrates. This is the purest form & is the most expensive.
  • Eau de parfum contains about 7% -15% perfume concentrates. This is the most popular & common form of perfume. It provides a long lasting fragrance and doesn't cost as much.
  • Eau de toilette has around 1% -6% perfume concentrates. This makes for a light scent that doesn't linger as long as the more intense versions.
  • Cologne has 3%-5% perfume concentrates and lasts up to two hours.

Where to Ukay

1. Baguio – My husband and my friends – Tere, Jeng & Jon are the experts in Baguio Ukay-Ukay. Since 2004, Ukay places are our favorite hang outs in Baguio.

  • The cheapest and most exciting is really the one on Hilltop, behind the
Baguio City Market. At 6:00 o'clock in the morning, at 12:00 noon, and finally at 6:00 o'clock in the late afternoon, hawkers will spread out the used clothing and bags by the road. These sell at about Php10.00 - Php50.00 each. A lot of office workers are able to assemble their wardrobes this way.
  • 'Bayanihan' is a pretty old hotel building to the northwest of Burnham Park that has found a new lease on life as the site of the cheapest ukay-ukay stalls. Navigating the maze of stores on different levels isn't easy, but the prices here are much lower than those found on Session Road. Stalls here close at around 6:00 or 7:00 p.m.
  • "Skyworld' used to be one of Baguio's 'pre-earthquake' shopping centers with a prime location at the corner of Session Road and Calderon Street. The shops here sell the best items -- and the sellers know their value -- so if you are looking for premium designer brands, this is the place to go, because they are still cheaper than the 'vintage' offerings on Ebay. Like in Bayanihan, Stalls close by sunset.
  • Harrison Road and the side streets between it and Session Road have a many small shopping areas selling ukay-ukay, and what's interesting about these shops is that they sell not only apparel but toys, sporting goods, office stuff and novelty items as well.
  • 2. Aurora Blvd. in Cubao, beside St. Joseph Church
    3. Edsa, Cubao (beside Air Philippines Ticketing Office)
    4. N. Domingo St., San Juan cor M. Paterno
    5. Along P. Tuazon going to Ali Mall
    6. Rainbow Bazaar – Buendia , this is the ukay of the rich
    7. The original ukay place – Bambang, Manila
    8. Kabanayan Ukay – opposite Farmer’s Mall (side going to Arayat Market)
    9. below freedom Bar in Anonas, Cubao
    10. Kamuning Ave., near Kamuning Market
    11. IGI’s Pasong Tamo, near Mc Donalds
    12. Quiapo, near Mercury Drug

Actually there are many places where to ukay but I haven’t gone yet to to other Ukay places: Libertad, Pasay, Monumento, Alabang….if you have want to add more in our Ukay list, pls. add our existing list.

8 Reasons Why Women Should Start Taking Control of Their Financial Future

Why then women should start taking control of their financial future?

    • First, we can no longer depend on our parents, our man, our boss and our government. They simply may not be there at all times. I often heard women unhappy with their relationships because of money. I have often heard people complain about their salary but still continue working for their jobs. I have seen in news about women trading-off themselves marrying a rich guy but ended up losing themselves along the way. Women must start to realize that they should never be dependent on anyone to take care of their financial future (Kiosaki K., Rich Woman, 2009). Statistics shows that approximately 7 out of 10 women, at some time, will live in poverty. The sooner women realize that they ought to be in business; the earlier they will be financially independent.
    • Second, women are more cooperative rather than competitive. This style is now often taught in business schools. Women tend to create out of the box methods to further their goal and face obstacles they face. They tend to listen more. In business, this style creates a win-win business environment.
    • Third, women are not afraid to say "I don't Know" (RichWoman, 2006).According to T. Harv Eker, a self-made millionaire, there are only three (3) things that we should never think of when going into business and that is to say, "I know, I know, I know". Saying "I don't know" is the most powerful tool women could have. Pretending to know all the answers because you don't want to look stupid comes from having a low self-esteem and low confidence. You will be amazed that when you say "I don't know", many things open up for you.
    • Fourth, women do their homework. I often hear during college days that if you are a guy and you want to graduate on time or as soon as possible, "you'd have to find a girlfriend, this way you will have someone do your homework for you." Although girls here tend to look like as if they are their boyfriends' slave, women as a general rule really do their homework. In business, women tend to do research more and they spend researching about their investment choices than most men do. When looking for the best investment, women tend to weigh options before going into the "hot tips".
    • Fifth, women are nurturers. In business, this natural character creates long-lasting relationships with clients, employees and other business networks. Even when it comes to investing, women "nurture their investments" more than men.
    • Sixth, women possess high emotional intelligence (Mika Hamilton,Global Investment Institutes). The one thing that men have in common is EGO. Men tend to let their egos make decisions for them. Women will tend to invest according to a plan and not according to the mood they are in or to what will make them look good.
    • Seventh, women ask questions. How many times have you experienced that when asking for directions, men don't want to ask? Even with couples being lost along the way, it's the woman who ends up asking directions. The good thing about this, when it comes to any kind of business, women will often seek advice from people who have been there and done that and when it comes to investing women will often ask questions rather then figuring things out on their own.
    • Eight, we are definitely great shoppers. We know how to spot a bargain. Why does this matter? When it comes to investing, it's like spotting the best deal, priced below its actual value and there is no other way but to buy it.
I'm not saying that women are greater than men; each individual has their own talents and skills that are of advantage in business. What I am saying here is that there are definitely a lot of advantages for women to start going into business and to start taking control of their financial future. In business, time is of essence, the earlier you start, the higher chances of succeeding. Robert Kiosaki said that if you start later in life or go into business after youre tire; there are already lots of important things you have to consider like your health and the emotional toughness to handle disappointments along the way (Retire Young Retire Rich, 2002).
There are definitely a lot of opportunities and possibilities out there waiting to be discovered. The best way is to go out and personally be in the game. Just mere thinking of going into business, reading books, listening to audios (though educational),is still passive learning, to quote what Benjamin Franklin said, "the credit goes to the one who is in the arena". Look for a businesswoman who can help you and mentor you. There are many successful businesswomen out there who will not hesitate to tell you their story and give you a piece of advice. Simply having a conversation with them is already learning actively. Don't ask women who never had any experience at all of going in business. It's funny because most of the time, those who have a lot to say are those whonever been there and done that. You will find out that businesspeople no matter what their gender is, have one thing in common; they take risks and their dreams are bigger than their circumstances. You have to realize that to be successful in life you have to be "in the zone" and do what Nike says, "Just do it" and you will be amazed by your own skills and strengths.
Just trying to do something-just being there, showing up- is how we get braver. Self-esteem is about doing."
